On 6 and 7 Asoj 2083 (22 and 23 September, 2026), the Natural Resource Conflict Transformation Center-Nepal (NRCTC-N) distributed second lot of essential relief materials to 250 flood-affected families in Uttargaya Rural Municipality, Rasuwa, and Bidur Municipality, Nuwakot, who were affected by the recent Bhotekoshi–Trishuli flood disaster.
Each family received a set of essential household and personal items, including: 5-Litre Pressure Cooker, 1 Karahi/Kadhai, 5 Steel Plates, 5 Steel Bowls, 5 Steel Glasses, 1 Plastic Tub, 2 Plastic Mugs, 1 Water Container (120 litres), 1 Double Bed Tent Mosquito Net, 1 Polar Bed Sheet, 1 Blanket (Sirak), 2 Pillows, 2 Pairs of Slippers, and 1 Towel.
The relief support was provided in coordination with Bidur Municipality, with the aim of helping affected families meet their immediate household and basic living needs during this challenging period.
Beneficiary families expressed their appreciation for the support, sharing that while they had received food assistance, household essentials of this kind had been less commonly available. They expressed gratitude to NRCTC-N for standing alongside them during this difficult time.
